Meet Yvonne Metcalfe
If I am elected, I promise to look at everything that comes my way through the lens of my conservative values. I am a Christian and I believe the Bible. I also believe that we live in a republic under God and under the constitution, and we have a separation of powers between the branches of government and between the states and federal government. I believe the 1st amendment and 2nd amendment are under attack by the radical left and if elected, I will stand in support of the constitution as written. I will stand against those things that are bad for Indianapolis and Indiana, and I will move forward with those things that would benefit our city and state.
Both of my parents were air force veterans and so I was raised to understand the sacrifices made for our freedom, and to believe in the greatness and potential of our country.
I have lived in Indianapolis since 1975. I met and married my husband, a lifetime Hoosier and Warren Central High School Graduate, in 1988 and we raised our children on the south side of Indianapolis. We love this city and have many wonderful memories here.
